Screening Locations
Main screenings (over 70 films) and workshops for the Oxford International Film Festival take place in two 300-seat auditoriums and one 100-seat auditorium located in the main building of the Marcum Conference Center. Each auditorium is specially outfitted for the festival with state-of-the-art sound and projection equipment to give the best possible festival-going experience. Workshops take place one newly built 150-seat ultra-modern auditorium located across the street from the center. The festival's nightly receptions are held in the ballroom & parlor of the Oxford Arts Center.
Events
The program for the 2007 Oxford International Film Festival includes an opening night Premiere Gala, which is a black-tie, catered event, featuring several never-before-seen films and introductions to the filmmakers. Several filmmaking Workshops and Panels also take place during festival week, given by industry professionals, amidst Screenings, Receptions, Meet and Greet, Q&A sessions, 24hr film competition and our closing-night Awards-Ceremony.
