Oxford International Film Festival Event Venues
The Oxford International Film Festival is expanding throughout the entire town of Oxford, Ohio for the 2008 Festival. The festival has that big-event feel, with a small-town atmosphere. Oxford, Ohio is a small college town (host to Miami University of Ohio) located directly in between the two major city centers of Cincinnati and Dayton, Ohio, right on the southwestern border with Indiana and Kentucky. The Oxford International Film Festival caters to a regional population of almost 3-million, and is the largest and only major film event of its kind in the region, and is what the Cincinnati Enquirer called "Sundance without snow..." -- Read below for more information about the event's primary locations.

- Marcum Conference Center
The Marcum Conference Center and Inn is the principle event location for the Oxford International Film Festival featuring 4 major event spaces, and the Oxford International Film Festival's screening rooms 1 (275 seats), 2 (275 seats), 3 (100 seats) and 4 (workshop space - 100 seats), as well as vendor space and ticket-sales. Though the center has state-of-the-art facilities, it retains the small-town atmosphere in both decoration and location, the center is surrounded by lush forest and formal gardens, and also has 92 spacious guest-rooms. The center is located only 5 blocks from the center of town and the rest of the festival activities.

- Oxford Arts Center
The Oxford Community Arts Center (OCAC) was originally built in the 1800's and is now completing renovation. The OCAC features 5 unique and newly renovated event spaces which consist of a 200-seat Theater (Screening Room 5), a 200-seat Rehearsal Hall (Screening Room 6), Ballroom (Vendors, Filmmaker Panels, Receptions & Other Events), a spacious North Parlor (Vendors), and slightly smaller South Parlor (Filmmaker Lounge). Each space is outfitted with state-of-the-art digital sound and projection systems brought in specifically for the festival each year. The OCAC is located one block from the center of town. Tickets may also be purchased here during the festival weekend.

- Uptown Park

The Uptown Parks area is located right at the center of small town of Oxford on Main Street. The park features an open-air band-stand, fountains, and picnic tables. The park is also directly across the street from over 2-dozen shops, restaurants and between 1-5 blocks from every Festival event location. The majority of the 2008 OIFF Concert-Series will take place here. Feel free to drop-by in-between screenings and events and catch over a dozen of the best local bands around, playing non-stop throughout the weekend.

- Philip R. Shriver Center
Located across town, on Miami University's campus, the Philip R. Shriver Center will play host to the Oxford International Film Festival's closing night formal, red-carpet awards gala & catered meal. Tickets to this event are only available separate from the standard passes.

**PARKING**
Each individual event location has a limited amount of parking available for guests, but for most attendee's your best bet will be to park at the Millett Arena parking area and ride one of the OIFF shuttles/busses around town. Parking is always FREE regardless of where you choose to park (except for metered-parking), but for most guests, your best bet is to either park at your hotel and walk (if your hotel is in town), or park in the Millett lot and ride our free shuttle service.

**Festival SHUTTLE**
Due to the ever-increasing size and attendance to the OIFF, the 2008 event will offer FREE bus/shuttle service between the major parking lots and each of the individual event sites. Buses will run approximately every 25 minutes. Pick up a festival program at the event to see an exact listing of bus-stops and times.
